My Two Inspirations

The two people who are the strongest influences in my life are my parents. They are my heroes, mentors, and inspirations in my life. They are truly the ones I look up to the most, and as I get older, the more I cherish who they are, their relationship, and our family.

 My Mama:

The most beautiful woman in my eyes. My best friend and Mom in one. She is a registered nurse, a relator, a network marketer, a column writer, a jewelry designer, an entrepreneur, a fashion icon, an interior designer, a model, a travel junky, an organizer, a great friend, and the best Mom I could ever ask for. She is the youngest of three, and she knew growing that there was more out there than just the small town of Inman, South Carolina. She started working at an orthodontist office when she was 16 and since then, she has been a go-getter and boss woman. She has always taught me that I can do anything, be anything, and go anywhere I want in life. Never settle and dream big. She gives the best advice because she helps me to see all perspectives of situations. If I am having a hard time and just need her presence, she will fly out to be with me the next day. She has taught me how to love deeper, have an open mind, always see the positive in situations, and treat others well. Her passion to always be bettering herself in some type of way inspires me to be my best self. She has introduced me to many self-development books, podcasts, and people that have made me into a better person.

It may sound cliché, but I do want to be just like her when I grow up. She lights up every room she enters and is a role model for so many.

 My Daddy:

You can ask anyone who knows him or has even met him once, he is the sweetest, most genuine, and happy-go-lucky man you will ever meet. To know him to his love him. Kerry Comer is a very basic man, never has much to say, but has the biggest heart. His joy comes from making others happy and I look up to that so much. An entrepreneur, a dirt bike racer, a cyclist, a boat driver, a mentor, a chocolate lover, and the most supportive and loving Dad. I guess you could say he is pretty cool. He never has anything negative to say, never complains, and is always down for a good time. He inspires me to see the best in people and live a carefree life. He is proven to be a great leader in our family and has a servant’s heart. If someone he knows is struggling financially or mentally, he will do whatever it takes to help them get back on their feet. He has taught me what it looks like to be a good husband and has set the standards very high. I am so thankful he is my Dad and I will forever be Daddy’s girl.
