Nothing says Motivation like Workout Clothes

Lets face it, getting motivated to get to the gym can be a struggle! It's really difficult when you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle and rocks some abs, but the motivation is lacking. However, I have found that there is nothing like awesome workout gear to inspire me to sweat! 

While there are so many brands that I love, one that I have found that is super cute and fits the budget is VSX, Victoria's Secret new line of workout clothes 'Victoria Sport'. Even if you do not workout often or not at all, these are great lounging clothes too! 

Working out on the daily had me in need of some new workout clothes and VSX was my perfect hook up when they had 50% off of their sports bras and yoga pants! The outfit I'm wearing in the photo combines two of my favorite colors that are trending right now which are olive/army green and eggplant color! 

Looking cute isn't the only reason to splurge on your workout clothes. You want to be comfortable and confident as well. Here are some tips to keep in mind when shopping for workout gear:

Comfort - look for clothes that do not constrict you. While they should be fitted, make sure they aren't too tight. Wearing the right clothes can make the difference in an enjoyable workout or an hour of misery.  Also, remember, cotton material traps sweat so look for gear made of performance fabrics like Lycra and/or poly blends. 

Confidence. - while we sometimes tend to want to hide behind baggy clothing, you will feel more confident and sure of yourself if you wear an outfit that looks good and feels good on you. If you feel good about yourself, you will be inspired to workout more. If you want to cover up, invest in some trendy, inspirational t-shirts to wear over your outfit. 

But remember! Its all about being confident in your own body and loving what YOU look like! Its not about trying to look like a fitness model and what society has in mind of a "fit girl."
